Brief Description:  Sec 47-8 steps 9 thru 13

I 'treated' myself to a golf game this am w/ 3 other friends, nice to have a little break from building. BUT when I got home a change of clothes and then out to the garage. I drilled and clecoed the side hinges to the upper cowl on both sides. Everything stayed sight with the clecoes in. then I removed the top cowl, and countersunk the aft edge and prosealed and riveted the aft upper cowl hinge. then countersunk the left side of th upper cowl and prosealed and riveted the side hinge to it. I'll feel better when this is all riveted and it's STILL tight, but so far it's looking good after getting off to a rocky start. I ordered a hiden hinge last week which should arrive in a day or two. I'd like to ohide the latch land use a remote cable to activate a pull pin ala Scott Schmidt, but with the James cowl and plenum, there's no way to mount the pull pin cable as the intake openings in the cowl are directly coupled to the underside of the plenum. I'll keep noodeling on this, my back-up it to use a either a Hartwell latch. or a couple of Camloc's.
