Brief Description:  Sec FF6-3

Still waiting on the arrival of some Smooth Prime so I can finish the inside of the Cabin cover. I thought I had some left over, but when I went to mix it, I found the Crosslinker had gelled. Overnighted some from Aircraft Spruce. I finished securing all of the control cables with Adel clamps, i needed to add several to make sure that I didn't have any interferance with hoses or other cables and the engine mount itself. i think i've got everything pretty well locked down. Boy the space aft of the engine is getting REALLY crowded. I then tackled the heat muffs. mounting them to the exhaust was pretty straight forward. Ed Hayden had done most of the leg work on this so I pretty much copied his implementation. After straightening the rivet tab w/a hand seemer. I riveted the muffs together using some pop rivets. Secured them top and bottom with some stainless steel expandable clamps. and then began to figure out how to run the scat tubes. I've got the left (pilot) side connected to the firewall heatercontrol and to the heat muff. I had previously ordered some DG 32's from spruce on Ed's recommendation to secure the Left side to the bottom of the engine mount. I'll finish up the right side in the am waiting for UPS delivery. I also attached the overflow hose to the mechanical fuel pump.
