Finished up attaching the #2 &4 welding cables to the Starter and Alternator. I used more adel clamps near the starter contactor to keep the cables clear of the future Oil cooler scat tube connection. I ran the starter cable down the 'tunnel' using some brackets I made with adel clamps on one end and the other attached to the sump bolts. I makes a pretty neat/tidy installation. I ran the #4 cable for the alternator under the engine mount. I used ty-wraps instead of more adel clamps, and ty-wraped the #4 cable to the curved lower cross member that runs beneath the oil sump. I tied it off to the vertical engine mount on the rigth side using adel clamps, and then brought it forward through the right side ' tunnel' in the same fashion as the Starter cable. When I started this engine system installation, I was worried about all of the maze of wires, cables, hyd lines, controls, etc. and I couldn't quite see a way to sort it out. But with only a couple more wires ( Alt Field wires and B lead for SD-20, Starter contactor switch wire) and the controls left I think it's coming together OK. I need to get the panel to a point where I canpsint the sub-panels that hold the control cables so that I can mount the control linkages and then be pretty much finished with the Engine install. Began countersinking the sub-panel mounting screw holes. I'm going to uses stainless steel #6 screws sto attach these. Used the Scotchbrite wheel to smooth the subpanel edges so that they won't mare the paint when being installed and removed.
