Brief Description:  Sec FFPS-6

The objective today was to get the Left side EGT & CHT probes connected to their harness. BUT... I figured a better way to secure the sparkplug wires on the Right side and so.... several Adel clamps and numerous reroutings of the plug wires resulted in a configuration that is tidy neat and secure. I'm grateful to John Cox who taught me a trick in using ty-wraps to make your own wiring loam. I used it extensively to help organize the plug wires. with the right side redone it was on to the left side and repeat.... more adel clamps.... more rerouting...... and finally something that works and looks relatively good. (As good as things can look given that the firewall forward area is a MAZE of hydraulic lines &wires and cables. The oil temp probe from JPi would not fit the machined port in the B&C oil filter adapter. I oredred a replacement (WESTACH) from ACS that has the correct 5/8 - 16 threads. I put 3 layers (different sizes) of shrink tubing on the wires where they butt to the sensor to provide more support, then threaded it in and with some difficulty safet wired it to the oil filter. I removed one of the vents from the right magneto and installed the RPM sensor. I'm short some adel clamps to secure the wiring harness to the engine mount and will need to pick thos up tomorrow am. then finish up th EGT & CHT for th eleft side.
