Began sorting out the remaining probes and sensors. Installed the Stainless steel firewall fixture from EPM. Attached all of the sensor harnesses to the JPi box, found out that the JPI documentation is wrog and shows a couple of harnesses in the wrong place, confirmed w a call to OP Tech. sorted which wires need to pass thru the firewall and routed them forward. I may have an interference with the JPI EIU and the Co-pilot MFD, i'll know in a couple of days. installed all of the CHT probes using John Cox's turbine high temp anti seize. I called BPE to find out where the Oil temp probe and the RPM sensor attach, The oil temp goes on the back of the Oil Filter adapter in a hole machined for an 5/8-18 fitting, the problem is that my Oil temp probe if 1/8 NPT """ I spent a fair amount of time looking for an adapter, and then found it easier to order a WESTACH sensor that has the 5/8-18 fitting integral to it. will be here FRI. The RPM sensor goes on the Magneto vent that does NOT have a cap on it, doesn;t matter which mag. John Cox will be here Fri/Sat and i'm hoping he can help me figure a good way to tidy up the wires forward of the firewall.
