Finished off the baffling & plenum today. Fabircated the tension rods to tie the bottom (Barrels and Heads) of the baffles together, The 1st set of die's I used weren't sharp enough to cut through the Stainless steel, so a quick trip to Ace to pick up a new 6-32 die, and we were off to the races. Took several back and forth trips to get the bends just right, but not a really big deal. I removed the Dessecant cartridges today and reinstalled the sparkplugs. Re torques ALL of the plugs and attached the plug leads. I finally figured an easy way to secure the leads for the top plugs (Image 3). Also added some nutplates to the aft portion of the plenum to tighten the fit between it and the rear baffling on #6 & #5. I had to sand some on th eplenum as when I riveted the rear baffles, it drew them closer than the clecoed' version was.
