Brief Description:  Sec FF2 Plenum step 8

Combo update for Fri & Sat. Sanded all of the flox/micro build-up on the back of the plenum flush. Still had some areas behind #6 that required more filling, so more micro and then more sanding. All of the spots that can/should be filled are filled and sanded (except across the front of the plenum.) There are several pinholes etc. that I'll wait and fill when I do the paint prep for the plenum. Built out the cup that filts around the upper right motor mount so that it was flush with the baffle. It still may require some additional build up (3/16"). Made some reniforcing plates for the aft baffles and then match drilled them to the upper rear of the plenum, and attached #8 nutplates to the plenum. This gets that back seal closed. The remaining challenge is to close the front seal around the engine case. talked to Gary Foster about how /what he did, and concluded that he probably has the best idea, and that was to cut off the contours that came with the original plenum, and apply some release agent/tape to the engine case and layup a custom 'seal' with the plenum secured in place. The original is close in some places but has over 1" gap in others. Went to get more Hi Temp epoxy but they were closed Sat. !$#6%$%. since I need to mount the control cables and that requires some instrument panel prework, I've been using heat and some clamps to get the Aerotronics instrument panel to better match the contour of the glare shield. I began to fit the CNC cut panels I got from Aerotronics. I remade the left panel as I'm not going to mount the SIR compass in it as it's canted at an angle and will give a false reading.
