More sanding of the gear and leg fairings. Also sanded the LEg fairings after the lay-up to conceal the hinge rivets. The Fiberglass is so thing that I'm not going to need to apply any filler to blend it into the fairing, just sanded and feathered the edges. AFter getting them all sanded there are still some pin-holes. So since I'm just marking time until the engine mount arrives. I mixed up a small amount of SuperFil and went over all of the remaining pinholes that I could see. I'll sand them again tomorrow, and then they should really be ready for priming.I got a shipment notification from Van's today saying they shipped the kmount, It's due to arrive on Thurs so hopefully I can get the engine hung on Fri. and get on with those Firewall forward tasks. The Sensors and probes are supposed to arrive end of this week or early next.
Everything has been 'final' sanded
However, there are still a few more pinholes to fill
So.... tomorrow will have another short sanding session
