Didn't get much accomplished today. the heat has set back in (102) for the rest of this week, I put the tubes in the wheels and put them on the main wheel hubs. per the plans. Pretty straight forward. I also contacted Matco per some other builders suggestions and arranged for a PMA to return the Van's supplied Nose wheel for one that provides for better clearance between the valve stem. There was a slight up charge of $18.60 and the cost of shipping both ways. So boxed up the 'old' unmounted nose wheel and sent it off via UPS. I should receive the replacement some time next week. The plans tell you to remove the bearings, but I don't seee why this is necessary as it easy to split the wheel hubs without doing so.
