I spent all day yesterday with Mom & Dad. helping w/Dad's heallth issues. Today it was back to work on the panel & wiring. 1st thing was to secure the Throttle, Prop, Mixture cobtrol cables to the subpanel support using some DG4 clamps. Then I made the J1 harness/connector for the Shadin ADC (OAT). Then connected the pitot & static lines to the Dynon D10A and then connected the harness to the D10A. There was a 'Keep Alive' lead that got connrcted to the Main Batt Buss. Also a case ground that got connected to the ground 'forest'. Next step was to attach a 15 pin dsub to the Crossbow 420 AHRS to connect it to the panel. Along the way I tried to 'tidy' up the behind the scenes panel, using tywraps to keep lines from chaffing and rubbing where possible. I was hoping to have a much neater/organized environment here, but it just didn't turn out that way. I'm going to test everything befor installing the center console because when it's installed, it will severly limit access to everything behind/under the panel. Last item today was to connect the pilot NACA vent to the eyeball vent. I had topick up another 4 ft of Scat from Aerozona. Tomorrow I should get the co-pilot connected. Another day or two connecting the panel and I should be ready for a test.
