Brief Description:  Sec Panel-36

Preparing to install instrument panel for final/last time. Began by removing all of the avionics from their respective trays. Next I had to remove the panel mounting bracket (this is made from the old instrument panel and attaches to the nutplates and the 'L' brackets in the upper fwd fuse) Then I installed the mounting bracket onto the upper forward fuse. The fiberglass portion of the instrument panel will get attached to this mounting bracket. The right side of the bracket is mounted with 1/2" standoffs to account for the curve in the panel. I removed the Forest of Tab's from the firewall, figuring it is easier to attach all of the grounds to the tabs with this off and on the bench rather than try and do after the panel is mounted. I was short some faston connectors and made a trip to Aerozona for some more. I also attached/connected the voltage regulators to some molex connectors to make it easier to install. There are two redundant ground on the voltage reg. and i had to remove then from the firewall and reinstall in order to get access to one of them. I installed the 3 screws for the Andair fuel valve, to secure it to the tunnel cover, then attached the red selector handle to the valve. I removed both the pilot and copilot EFIS subpanels. to make installation easier. Will reattach after panel installed and most connections complete.
