Brief Description:  Headset & Mic plugs

I thought I'd get the pilot & co- pilot Headset/mic plulgs out of the way this morning. expected it would be a couple of hours. Turned out to be a lot more. (I'm logging 4.5 hours but I spent all day and only got the 2 plugs done). I spent a lot of time just researching how to wire them, I guess everyone expects that you should know, but I didn't, and had to search around a bit for the information. I think I've got it straight, but we'll see when test time comes. Also this was my 1st encounter with the soldering iron, and that took a few learning curve appemptss before getting satisfactory results. I also put some molex connectors on both the co-pilot &pilot sides, to facilitate installing/removing the panel and maintenance. After seeing how well the power distribution wire bundle looks , I'm not at all happy with the other wiring groups and am thinking about redoing some of them to make for a more tidy panel (I don't like AT ALL the idea aof taking more time on this rather unpleasant task, but the thoughts of leaving it 'messy' is running against my OCD genes. I called Stein to see where the eyeball vents were as I needed to make sure there would be room for them, particularly on the pilot side. The require a 2" hole , so I positioned the plugs appropriately. I also ordered the extra lighted rocker switch for the auto pilot that I missed the 1st time around.
