Brief Description: Mount auto pilot more switches and trim indicators
Began today by cuttin gout the fiberglass behind the switches so that the switch/flap panel can be installed. Next task was to create a mounting panel from .0625 for the autopilot, some additional switches and the trim indicators. 9I'm not going to install the trim rocker switches, as I'll have those functions wireed to the hat switch on the control columns. I'm short a switch that I forgot when ordering last week, so that's anothe call to pac coast avionics. I installed the mounting plate to the center console with 6 "6 nutplates and then countersunk the attachment holes, then proceeded to drill/cut and file all of the holes to mount the above. I'm glad that this step is clolse to over ad my fingers are more than a little sore from the filing. I need to order some panel lighting rheostats.dimmers and install them, and then I think I can complete the remainder of the initial panel wiring (minus the engine probes)
