I needed to make a new mounting plate for the lighted rocker switches, because the old one was too narrow to allow for the snap-in switches. I' went back and forth on whether or not to use these, and I even ordered the conventional toggle switches from B&C. But, I want this panel to look nice, and the old toggle switches are a little too mechanical, So I popped for the more expensive but more attractive rocker switches. I'm short some of the caps that are being engraved, they should arrive in a couple of weeks. I've also got 5 additional switches that will be mounted below the autopilot on the center console. Fitting those will be tomorrows job. Like everything else this took way more time that I figured, but I was afraid of runiing the part, each individual switch hole got drilled, step drilled, and then filed to final size after several test fittings, turned out OK, and will look even better when the mounting panel gets painted along with the rest of the instrument panel inserts.
