Brief Description:  Sec 43-Overhead console Step # 4

Finished the initial filling and sanding with the filler material. Gace everything a cood sanding w 100 grit, blew everything off, wiped it all clean from dust and then sprayed on the 1st coat of UV Smooth Prime. Gary Specter put me on to this product, and a I ever glad he did. It's a water based final filler, uv protection and primer all in one. It is extremely sandable. you can apply it by rolling it on or with a sprayer. I chose to spray it on. the directions say to spray 3 light coats, waiting between coats for it to dry to the touch. If it gets 'wet' looking it will run 9I proved that several times) My initial 3 coats were probably a little too heavy, But this stuff sands so easily that it not really a problem. I got an initial coat on the entire structure and sanded the front 1/2 w/ 150 grit, then reapplied a second coat. Ran out of daylight so i'll let that dry and then sand and finish the remainder tomorrow.
