Drilled the Center cabin brace to the cabin and the the fwd fuse deck. Nothing remarkable. drilling the two holes into the upper fwd fuse rib required that I dismount the encoder in order to get a straight shot. Climbing in and out of the fuse and twisting under the upper fuse is not a lot of fun, I can't wait til it's time to hook up all of the engine probes and pitot/static etc. After countersinking all of the holes in the door frames. I trimmed the canopy. you begin by trimming to the scribe line on the bottom of the windshield marked with a sharpie. then you test fit it after marking the forward bottom position @ 10". You 'sight' a new scribe line for the top extending 20" from center on each side. Trim that and then go back and test fit, scribe and trim some more. about 3-4 iterations of the above and you get it trimed pretty close. It's just abut impossible to get it trimmed perfectly, But I expect that the gaps will get filled with some sort of glue/mastic which will allow for expansion and contraction due to heat/cold.
