Brief Description:  Pitch servo, AHRS, & Batteries

Finished making the connections to the Batteries. The last 2 were the #2 and #4 AWG welding cables that get run forward and attached to the contactors by the Batteries. While I was at it. I also fabricated a bracket from some 2"x2" angle that attaches to the Van's battery hold down bar. Then mounted the Pitch Servo. I waited for Tru Trak to send the 'fixed' servo mounts, but could have saved them and me some time. All they did was ream out the misdrilled hole so tha tit matches the nutplate hole, and I ended up putting 3 washers under it to act as spacers. Their hardward kit still didn't have the right sized bolt in it. It needs an AN 13 and they ship a AN10/11. I re routed some of the Contactor wires to provide more room between them and the Xbow AHDR. They want 24" between anythign magnetic/ferous/or electric and short of mounting it to the top of the tailcone, there's really no place that provides the 24". I spoke w/ Dwight @ OSH about mounting an A/C compressor back there and what it would do to the AHRS and he seems to think that it would be OK, and that the 'calibration' rountine would correct for anything. I used Tim Olsen's approach for mounting the AHRS, and found some non magnetic Stainless Steel screws and nuts to moun it with. I need to fabricate some brackets to mount the Strobe power supply, and the ELT and then I can pull all of the wiring forward from the rear to the panel/Firewall.
