Finished fitting and installing the lens covers and also installed the Bob Archer Nav Antenna. Pretty straight forward, just need to be careful riveting the nutplates so as not to crack/chip the fiberglass. I decided to add 2 additional nutplates to both the top and bottom of each wing tip. The Bob Archer Nav antenna is also a straight forward install, I needed to remove and reinstall 5 nutplates, also removed the holddown clamps as They won't be needed. The pic's don't show it, but I made foam wedges/inserts to fill the gap between the antenna and the wing tip, so that the antenna is flat. I installed these with GOOP, I believe it should be sufficient, if it doesn't hold after cured. i'll put a strip of fiberglass cloth across them in a couple of places. The only thing left with the wing tips is to install the LED Nav lites and strobes. I talked to Jeff this afternoon and they should be here ina 8 or so day's.
