Had to shorten the Right wing tip as it is 7/16" too long. Drew a straightline from the ailerons, and trimmed the excess off, only about 50% of the remaining trailing edge was bonded together so I put a 4 ply fiberglass lay-up over the new trailing edge. Needed to wait for the fiberglass to cure/set-up, so I bondo'd the Left tip rib, to make a smooth edge. so lots of hurry-up and wait. mixing bondo, apply, wait til sandable, sand, apply more bondo, also filled the pop rivets that I used for the lst 3 rivets on each tip....... finished up the Left wing tip, and then the fiberglass was cured enough so I could work with it, I riveted the Right Tip Rib in place then sanded the fiberglass trailing edge, and used bondo to get a smooth transition and to fill/smooth the tip rib area. Just a taste of what lies ahead when it comes time to paint. i can see why people say that the prep is 200+ hours!
