Before finishing the carpet install I installed the lap seat belts for the front seats. I had to fab some bushings from some alum tube as I cou;dn't find the others. The carpet pieces fit nicely over the seatbelt attach points. I left an opening at the top of the pieces for the belts to move/rotate through. then finished off installing the 4 side carpet pieces in the rear passenger footwell. Before moving on to reinstall the center console. I want to fix some bindin gin the seats. Th eoutboard seat rails are not flat, and when I chinched them down with the screws it caused a bow in the rail which binds the seats. I removed the fore and aft screwas and then fashioned some .040" shims and then reinstalled the fore and aft screws. I definately helps, although there is still some residual binding, but much better than before.
Pilot/copilot lap seatbelts installed and side carpet pieces in place to cover them.
