Brief Description:  Sec Final-34

Yesterday was spent trying to get all of the things that should/could be done prior to th ewings going on done. That included finishing the painting of the glare shield, and then mounting it. Also retrofitting the front seat latch handles to the one I got from G. Hale. These move the latch handle from the side of the seat where there's VERY little room to the front outside/bottom of the seat similar to an automobile seat adjustment. MUCH easier to adjust. Then today was the BIG day. The Wings got hung! My Friend Bob Hall came out to the airport w/ me this am , and then Mickey and Jerry came over from their hangar, and together we got both wings off of the cradle and installed on the plane. I used a trick/tip from David McNeil, and cold soaket the close tollerance wing bolts overnight in the freezer, I transported them to the airport in a cooler filled w/ ICE. we took them out sprayed some LPS on them and then put them in. They took a little 'encouragement' but from the stories I've heard not nearly waht others have had to do. WE got all 16 bolts in place and then went to the airport restaraunt for some chilli soup to celebrate!. I've still got to Torque them, and attach fuel lines/ electric connectors and linkage etc. But Its noce to see it looking a bit mor elike an airplane is supposed to look.
