Over the weekend, I sprayed 9rattlecan0 some epoxy paint on the portion of the wing where I ran the peel test earlier, Let it set up good over the weekend, and then on Monday I installed the 1" wide 3m anti chaffe tape to the underside of the wing on the flap gap seals. I followed the instructions for surface preparation from the #m website, cleasn w/ iso alcohol, sand with 400 grit, followed by scotchbrite, then reclean with alcohlol. Then I applied the tape and used a credit card to squeege the surface. I followed up with a razor blade to trim the edge flush with the wing skin. Repeated for both wings. Tues. I installed the 90 degree tnc adaptor I ordered from Amphenol for the Freeflight WAAS gps antenna. i had to wallow out an area around the conductor to allow for room for the right angle. But now with the antenna reinstalled, I can attach the overhead closeout and the Oxy distribution manifold doesn't interferre with the antenna cable. I also installed the seatbelt capture bracket I got from don McDonald THANKS Don !!!!!!! it works great !!!!! I started to recalibrate the Crossbow AHRS, ut found that I don't have the right connectors to connect the cable to the PC serial port. That will have to wait, as will securing the nose gear standoffs while I get some lock washers..
