Brief Description:  Sec Final-2

I've been tied up at home on some matters and haven't been able to spend much time here lately. but with ALL of the airplane back in the hangar I have begun to do some reassembly. reinstalled the LED nav/Strobe lights into the wing tips, and then moved on to reattach the empennage. I made a trip to Aerozona to buy new AN hardware. And reattached the HS. I had to buy a new torque wrench, as I dropped my old one and it's now toast. I got the trim cables threaded through the HS. I went to get some Torque lock lacquer and found it was dried up ! so another trip to Aerozona. Next was to reattach the VS, I guess I never attached ALL 6 bolts with nuts, prior and I found that the middle bolts threads were located a bit too close to some of the rivets which made it difficult to get the AN washer and nylock nut on. The solution was to use an AN self locking nut which seemed to be just a tich smaller and allowed me to get it threaded and torqued to the bolts.
Another 'gotcha' was that while I drilled an access hole for the strobe and taillight through the tail bulkhead, I didn't drill it through the VS !?!? I ended up having to relocate the hole and then match drilled it and installed snap bushings in both the builhead and the VS. With Judy's help I got the Left elevator 'hung'. And Lo and Behold Ed Hayden called today, he was in town for some business and he came over and helped me de-cowl the plane and fit the right elevator. It's always good to see Ed again ! Thanks Buddy !
