1st thing today was to physically install the new pedal assembly. its VERY straightforward, and used the same mounting as the stock pedals. The stock pedals have 2 'cups' machined in the Delrin blocks on the ends (for each of the stock pedal bars) You can use either, but since I'm short, I chose to use the cup furthest away from the firewall (closest to the pilot). The center support brace needs the old blocks removed and also needs the lower flange trimmed .065" for some clearance. I used a dremel tool with a cut-off disc to do this. Then remounted the assembly using the Delrin blocks and hardware. Next step is to cut the 'slots for the rudder cable arms. I marked where they hit the tunnel cover to get the horizontal algnment, then removed the cover and cut an initial slot. It took 3 or more test fit/removal cycles to get the slots cut with the right lengths. I ended up with a little too much slot in the aft end, To verify that I have enough, I remounted the VS and rudder and temp connected the rudder cables, and then moved the pedals through full stop to stop deflection. You need to section the tunnel cover to allow for installation, I chose a point midway between the slots and midway between two attachment screws on the cover sides. I cut it with a Dremel, installed a backing plate and a couple of #8 nutplates
