Covered and mounted the glareshield. The glareshield I got from Greg Hale is made to slip over the front of the upper forward fuse. I finally figured out a way to mount it. I ended up using some 'clip-nuts' #6. I used 3 of them, one on each side of the center stack, and one on the pilot side. The Aerotronics fiberglass panel is not perpendicular, and so there is not enough of the upper forward fuse skin that projects above the co-pilot side. It turns out that 3 screws with the clipnuts hold it extremely tight. I used some of the same domwed ss screws with finish washers to attach the glareshiled to the clipnuts/upper fuse skin. I covered the glareshiled with a piece of matching seat leather I got from Classic Aero. this is the third time I've tried glueing leather to compound curves surfaces, sounds like it should be pretty easy, but..... anyway, the results are not perfect, but they are acceptable. After seeing the glareshiled mounted, and using the LED panel flood lights installed in the overhead, I decided against installing the LED lighting strip on the underside of the glareshield. 1. because it will look ugly, and 2. I really dont need it with the overhead lights.
