Brief Description:  Sec Home-73

Last couple of days, I installed the rear seats. pretty straight forward, I already had the half hinges made from 'a long time ago'. Clecoed them to the bottom of the Aero Classic seats, match drilled, riveted and then installed. I covered the left rear window trim ring in tweed, and temporarily installed it. I'm not really that impressed with the results. I held off doing the right side. I'm going to wait until I install the headliner in the aft cabin , and then see if I feel any different, I may just eliminate tham al together. I trimmed the aft baggage bulkhead to fit around the overhead plenum. I screwed up the 1st time, and took too much material off, so I had to repair/replace the material and then recut the cutout to allow for the overhead. The whole baggage bulkhead will be covered by an upholstered cover when done, so the repair won't show. I began to install an access door in the lower bagagged bulkhead, but before doing so. I wanted to install a 12V outlet to power the Artic Air cooler I bought @ OSH. I determined the lower right corner of the bulkhead was the best place. I made a doubler out of .040" and then riveted it in place on the aft side of the bulkhead, Used a step drill to open up th ehols for the outlet that I purchased from Steinair. I needed to use the deburrind swivel tool to open up the hole slightly to allow for a press fit of the 12 v outlet. I wired it to the same battery buss that the overhead lights are wired to.
