Brief Description:  Sec Home-70

My seat belts arrived from Hooker Harness. I ordered intertial reel belts after flying in David McNeils -10. The Inertial reels are VERY nice for the shoulder straps. The Amsafe reels require 4 additional hard points in the cabin cover on ea side. But Hooker has some that mount with a single bolt. David makes a point about the apparent weakness in the single bolt, but I was going to use it with the fixed shoulder belts anyway. I also got the totary buckles. The Inertial belts need a bushing to take the mounting hole down to the 5/16" size. My Dear Wife Judy made some BEAUTIFUL vinyl prop guards earlier in the week. I've seen a couple of incidents of damage to the composite prop during installation/removal of the cowl, and these should help. For the past year I've had a worry bubble about the fuel lines, when I made & installed them, the tool I used left numerous tooling marks in the tubing. I've been worried about vibration and stress risers. I put replaceng them on the punch list, and this week was their time. I ended up replacing all of the 3/8" tubing (except pump manifold) with new tube (formed with a new/better tool). the job took 2 full days and too much $%#!$^. HOWEVER, during the process I found that the flares on fuel purge valve return line had sheared and the line pulled from the AN fittings!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say I replaced the line and checked that the flared firrings & joints were secure. I think my worry bubble can relax now. Also spent several hours unsucessfully debugging XM weather
