Another hot day in the Valley of the Sun, Managed to mount the Naca Vents for the panel eyeball swivels. I took some measurements and if I got it correctly, I'll be able to use the std 2" scat tube doubled back and then attached to the panel vents, at least that's the plan. Used some Proseal to glue them in place, then used 3 CS4-4's in each to hold them in as i've heard of them popping of on one builder. Recived the polished 3" induction ring for the colw from Rod Bower today. He has Dave Chazachorowoski make them for him , and they are the same high quality as the rest of his work. Sanded the opening in the lower cowl so that I could press fit the ring into it, and then used duct tape to hold it in place, turned it nose down, and mixed some flox which I pourde around the ring, then took a popcicle stick and made sure there were no air bubbles trapped in the ring. In this heat it cured in minutes! EAA mtg tonight, and the Kids arrive home from School for a visit tomorrow, so things mght slow a bit.
