Brief Description:  Sec Ram-6

More running to town today, got the photo positive made. really just to a 600dpi printed word doc hard copy to kinkos and for $.85 they copied it on to a transparancy. took it to the screen burner who said it would be perfect and that I could pick up my screen tomorrow $35!. Went to town to order some custom ink, and the silkscreen supply place advised me that it would be cheaper and just as effective to use sign paint enamel, so I got 1/2 pint of black and white to (make grey). It cleans with mineral spirits, no catalyst, no 2 weeks to wait for custom color matching and everything including the scueeqe was $25!. Got back and this afternoon I began sanding the lower cowl. Yesterday I built it up to provide a more attracive and blended transition from the old cowl to the induction ring. Previously there was a slight inward bow from the junction to the ring. i filled that and put a gentle outward bow. While the transition is not what I would do if I were building the cowl from scratch (NOT!) It's as good as i think it can get given that the Ram air canisters size requires a slight 'bulge' on the bottom. Talked to Rod yesterday and he said that the machined induction ring should be here by late this week or early next week. I'll prime and sand this and then layup a 2 ply 'mold' for Rob so others that want to go this route can save some time and effort.
