Brief Description:  Sec 45 Finishing step 3

Started off today, "Finishing" up the wheel pants and fairings. I know I said that they were done, BUT, There were a couple of spots where the primer was sanded through, Also, I needed to finish sand the seam between the front and back halves and then recountersink all of the screw holes. Took about 4.5 hours, with shooting more primer and resnding. but this time they really are ready for paint! Spent some time considering what I'm going to do w/ the interior of the doors. (I'm stil waiting for Aero Composites to send me a mounting template so I can mount the cowl.)I originally planned to make a fiberglass overlay that will double as a window trim ring. Which I will cover/wrap w/ tweed fabric. I was going to mold in an arm rest. I stuck the seat in the cockpit and mounted a door to seee where the armrest should be, and determined that there really wasn't a good place for one. So scratch that idea. When I installed the Coss door handles I had to cut out some of the door because of interference, So before laying up the overlays. I needed to close these openings off. I carved some closed cell foam plugs, epoxied them in and then covered them w/ Bondo. (It's Interior and will get covered with fiberglass.) This closed off the door and still provided a smooth contour for the door opening. I put a 2 ply lay up over each one and will let it cure tonight. Tomorrow I'll tackle the overlays.
