Brief Description:  Sec 48 Finsihing Step 7

Shot some more Smooth Prime on thge gear leg fairings today, There are a couple of pin holes that will require manual filling. The rear sections will require 1st sanding and then another set of coats. Even though I tried to fill all of the low spots w/ Super Fil and sand before. It looks like there may still b esome 'waves; in the intersection fairings. So they will probably require an additional sanding and spraying cycle. I haven't sprayed the Nose Wheel fairing yet, there are still some pinholes and voids that need to be filled before it's ready. The modified Engine mount from Van's arrived. After unpackinh it, The modification looks to be Great! I asked Scott if he's make the 'bent piece wider that he did on Tim Olson's and it looks like they got it as wide as possible while still leaving enough of the old ross member to weld on to. They also didn't mess up th Powder coating, I masked off the existing powder coat, took an emery cloth to the new un primed piece, widped it all down w/ acetone. and then shot some rattle can primer, I put about 3 coats on and let each coat dry in between, Then I sprayed some RustOLeum closs white over it all, Looks pretty good. I'll let that harden overnight and then tomorrow we'll try once again to get the engine hung. (After remounting th engine mount and nose gear)
