Brief Description:  Sec 48-11 & Sec 48-12 both legs

Finished up the main gear fairings today. initially had to trim all of the intersection fairings to final size and shape, then test fit each fairing to the leg/pant/fuse, I used a heat gun with the hand seamer and the spring clecos to bend the flanges into their final shape. I'm really happy I went to this step, it ensures a really good/flush fit for the intersection fairings. repeated on both sides, then sanded the intersection fairings so that they can take a coat of Superfil ad refit them. this time taking some care to ensure they are aligned per the plans, then drilled #40 and clecoed each fairings into the pant/fuse. Rechecked the alignment to make sure its still OK and it is!. Repeated for the right leg. then removed the pants, andlower intersection fairings and installed #6 nutplates in the pants to attach the lower intersection fairings. I'm going to hold off on the upper as they are attached using self tapping screws and I don't want to run the screws in and out any more than necessary.
