Brief Description:  Sec 48-8 and 48-9 Left and Right all steps

Began on the gear leg fairings. First step is to align the trailing edge and the to insure right angles on each end of each leg. Then cut out the template and transfer the cutout lines to each leg fairing, and cut the ends off. Once that's cleaned up, then the next step is to rivet the piano hinge to the trailing edge of each leg fairing. I'ts pretty much following the plans. the plans don't say which hinge to use and I had several that were candidates. I looked in the Cowling section and found that they called out a specific material hinge to use and so I used the other ones, as I haven't done my cowl yet. Seems like all of these steps are taking more time than I think they should. the Left leg took twice the time as the right, too bad I'm not building 2 planes at the same time, the 2nd would go a lot faster !!! (Just kidding, it's going to be all I can muster to get this ONE done!) . Nest step is the intersectin fairings. I'm debating whether I want to attach the pant fairing per the plane (w/ nutplates or do what Vis syracuse did and split the fairing and flox/fiberglass it to the respective pant halves. I've got the weekend to think about it.
