Finished up the installation of the Main gear fairings, but it took way longer than I thought it would. The Left fairing was a problem, somehow when I attached the nutplates, I didn't get them centered in the holes and when trying to attach the screws they were binding. I ended up drill ing off all of the nutplates on the left gear bracket, and opening up the hole to allow for clearance and then reinstalling the nutplates. I finally got all of the holes on the fairing reamed so that they matched the nutplates I marked the bottom to provide min of 5/8 " clearance around the tire, took everything off and countersunk the attach screw holes, then atached 8 nutplates and countersunk the fwd pant. Reinstalled everything using screws and checked alignment. Amazingly it's pretty close the 'parallel' measurement was only off 1/16" as well as the vertical. then repeated the same process for the Right fairing, only the holes in the fairing and the bracket aligned much better.
Attach nutplates to hold fwd and rear fairings together
