Happy Thanksgiving! I stole a couple of hours this morning to go out and check out the doors. I first sanded all of the exterior edgeg flush between the door and the cabin cover. A couple of places will require some additional build up where the cabin cover is still lower than the door, After finishing this initial sanding , I think that this is going to work out very well, it's going to ad considerably in terms of additional hours of sanding, but the process is going to yeild a MUCH better fit and finish between the doors and cabin top. After getting the exterior surface filled and sanded, the inside of the door jam is next, as the 'squeege' produced some irregular blobs that need to be sanded flush, then the inside will need to be 'squeeged' to fill the gaps and produce a smoothe surface, after that's done then a careful sanding should produce the desired finish edge. I figure it will take me the rest of this week and all of next week to get the 2 doors and cabin cover exterior finished up.
