Finally figured out that I DID have a tool which would cut the old elevator bucking bar. Its a high speed grinder/cut offwheel. 20 minutes use of it and I had 2 new bucking bars (and the knowledge and material to make any additional that I might need down the road. Another 30 minutes per fuse side and I had the F1041 Longerons and doublers and nutplates finished. Now to put down some soundproofing, install the floor pans, reinstall the geatr mounts and rivet the F1088 ribs and Sec 29 will be history! I'm still fighting a whopper of a cold so this is it for today.

The smaller one worked wonderfully for this application
