Rivet the Rudder Pedal brace. This was a bit problematic, in that the plans call for 470 4-5 flush head rivets with the mgf head inside of the recess. There is no wat to get the rivet gun inside of the recess. I posted on Matronics, and Ron McGann from down under, said to go ahead and use a flush set and that it would work. Fortunately I have a swivel flush set I picked up @ OSH last year, and i got Judy to buck while I held the set so that it didn't wander around and we got them bucked. The very top rivet is too close for the flush set to really do a proper job, We got it started, and then finishe d it up useinf the double offset back rivet set, it's not the prettiest rivet set, but it's done. this whole firewall seemed to fight me, I'm glad it's over.
