Finished riveting some nutplates to the Mid Fuse Bottom skins, Then welcomed Ed Daror the Technical councilor from our EAA chapter 538 for the 1st (initial) inspection) Ed is an A&P AI, and has a wealth of knowledge. He has built an RV6. The biggest value of the visit was not so much in the inspection of the work done so far, but in plumbing his experience and gaining his suggestions for things like engine selection, paint, electronic ignition, and others. He said the workmanship so far was excellent, which made me feel good, i asked him about a couple of trouble areas and got an excellent suggestion about how to address a flap bushing which I reamed too loose. The best thing is now I have a local 'expert' who is an A&P who i can lean on for advice and help when I run into unknown waters.THANKS ED!
