Brief Description:  Will be away for a little while.

OK. It looks like I haven't got busy these days but rest assure, it wasn’t the case. Remember, I said in the page intro that it’ll be a slow build because I have a busy professional life. That was not a joke. But I’m keeping the focus; I’m out of town with C-FXAO to complete my PPL training. I used to have a partner with the PA-28 but Pierre decided he doesn’t want to push any further with his training for medical reasons. Not for now at least.

We have a flight school in my home town but unfortunately, I could’t manage to fit my schedule into the school's schedule proposed during last summer. In addition, the flight school at CYVO is about to close down because of the cold season. On the other end, it seems like I just can’t find the time to dedicate fully to flight instruction while I’m here at home. It seems like there is always somebody asking me to join a meeting or irrupts in my office. So, I’ve decided to put an end into this and try to complete my training elsewhere.

I have a brother living Lachute, province of Quebec and it happens that Lachute’s flight school is open all year long. Also, I had recommendations for a few good friends who told me that there are good chances that Lachute is a good place to acquire my PPL in the quickest time possible. So let’s give it a try.

I already have 18 hours logged in from previous flight instruction time. The PPL requires a minimum of 45 hours of flight instruction. Supposing that I fly every day, twice a day if possible, for the next 3 weeks, I should be done with the practical part. Only the written exam will remain.

Once I'm back, I resume building.
