Brief Description: Pitot mast for Dynon's heated Pitot-AOA
Couple of days ago, I've ordered the Gretz Aero pitot mast for the Dynon’s heated pitot-AOA. I’m starting to regret my choice looking at the backing plate supplied in the kit. I should've stick to my first idea and buy a SafeAir1 pitot mast instead.Not really impressed by the workmanship around the preparation of that plate. Looking at this, I'm wondering why are we busting our ba... that much trying to fabricate "perfect" parts while "manufactured" parts looks that bad???
If I had to fabricate one and ended up with something similar, I would’ve thrown it in the garbage. I’m going to call Gretz about that and ask for a replacement. Let see.
