Most of the day was spend removing defective rivets on the left fuel tank. About 50 of them were removed, mostly on the top, forward side of the tank assembly. Because I’m am now an “expert” in rivet removal, I had some spare time to tackle with a less messy, more easy task to do; folding those fuel gauge wires holding the floats. There is a template on the last page of Section 18 of the assembly manual. The trick is to fabricate the float wires to be identical as much as possible.
