My son Étienne came back this afternoon to help me repair and finish up those fuel tanks. A syringe fill with 30g of sealant was more than enough to repair all the rivets on left fuel tank plus the entire right fuel tank. For each of the rivets we installed, we cleaned out the hole with the deburring hand tool prior to fill it with a drop of sealant. Place the bucking bar and fire the rivet gun. DONE ! The final result is beyond expectations. If only we’d knew that before…
