Brief Description: Clecoing the nose ribs into the skin
Today, I have ruined two nose ribs on the left leading edge. Simply because I tried to fit them in the skins without fluting them properly. As a matter of fact, I’ve made the same mistake twice; trying to correct alignment of holes, “banging” on the part with a hammer instead of doing it with the proper tool. Nobody’s fault but mine. I’ll order new parts (16$ ea) tomorrow. What pisses me the most is that it will take another 2 weeks before I got these ribs back from Van’s. That is about the time it takes for parts to come in from Oregon up to here… I’ve learned my lesson. No more banging on parts anymore. I’ll work on the right L-E tomorrow.
