I don’t agree with the snap bushing call outs on the first few pages of Section 12.0. To me, they don’t fit with what we can see on section 17.0 where we can see how the wire harnesses and Pitot/AOA tubes are routed. In particular, I fail to see the point of installing ½ in snap bushing on all the right wing ribs when in fact, both wire harness (wing tip lights and A/P servo) are threaded through the bottom set of hole only. I decided to ignore the instruction calls out and figure them on my own.
Not done yet with ribs deburring. Spend some time on this to.
Also, I've ordered brand new bolts and nuts to replace those supplied in the kit. $7.50 per wing. Cheap price for piece of mind. That way I'll know exactly how these bolts will be torqued. Again, there was a slight descripancy between the plans and the reality; four bolts out of 44 (22 per side) removed from the spar were different from those called out. No big deal. Easy fix, I have plenty of spares.
