I wanted a strobe, but locating one is not easy. So, I chose a self contained unit from Wag Aero for about $175. My plan was to attach a mounting plate between the bottom stringers. Using some .040 aluminum sheet I laid out to match the taper of the stringers and the inside angle of the stringers once mounted. I made the mounting plate to accept unit from the bottom so that I can change it out or change the bulb. This can be acomplished with the removal of 5 screws. The Plate itself is riveted in place. One issue was the center stringer. To solve this I located the unit toward the rear where the bottom stringer arrangement started to flatten out. I then simply terminated the center stringer at the mounting plate.
