Began the process of riggin the lower ailerons. We machined the female portion of the hinges from 7075 aluminum to accept the male part that contains the bearing (KP for 1/4"); layed out ailerons to the wing cove and clamp in place. Painful care was taken to ensure that the aileronswere centered and well aligned. Spot drilled the aileron spar. Using a drill jig fashioned from a piece of oak and 2 inches of bushing stock, I drilled the aileron spar with 1/64 drill and reamed to size for 3/16 bolts. I will later dril to accept a busing.
