Got a late start today as Ellie had to go to the Vet this morning
Inventoried and stored parts order received from Van's over the weekend. Rearranged a few of the parts into the new tray purchased from Harbor Freight in order to better organize some parts.
Reviewed and re-read the instructions for the Filtered Air Box installation. I find these instructions very confusing as they are general and written for all the Van's models and both carborated and fuel injjected engines. Sent an email to Van's support with questions to confirm my understanding of the correct approach for my IO-540 engine.
Began sanding the center console to prepare it for clear coating. There is a molding ridge down the center of the console that needs to be removed. Removed the hinge and latch hardware (stored it in the parts drawers) and then sanded the center ridge using the random orbit sander with 80 grit sanding disk.
