After reviewing prior posting on VAF for baffles, decided to use paper clips to determine where the baffles were hitting the top cowl. Found that the front baffle was holding up the cowl.
Trimmed the forward baffle and tested the top cowl fit. Still not setting down but a big improvement from yesterday. Used the paper clips to determine areas requiring further trimming, and trimmed most of the baffles. Re-tested and then trimmed more based on the paper clips showing the high points.
Repeated several more times today. At the end of the day, the top cowl fits again. Will need to do more trimming on Monday to get the consistent 1/2 inch gap between the metal baffles and the cowl.
