Brief Description:  Installed Voltage Regulators

Installed both voltage regulators, attaching them to the sub-panel with the primary regulator on the left side and the standby regulator on the right side. This will allow bringing the primary alternator wires across the front of the engine and down the left side, along with the A/C compressor wires and the starter wires. The standby regulator wires will be routed through the top center hole to the standby alternator.

Determined a location on the top left side of the firewall in the engine compartment for the overcurrent fuse in the wire from the start relay to the main bus. Driled the mounting holes, deburred them, and got the mounting screws started. Will need to wait to tighten them until I have someone to assist as I can't reach both sides of the firewall at the same time.

Determined a location for both current shunts on the sub-panel at the top left on the aft face. Drilled mounting holes for the shunts. Went to the auto parts store to look for fuse holders for the shunt sense wires. Found a nice block that holds 4 glass fuses that should work well. Drilled mounting holes for this fuse block just to the right of the shunts. Will mount the shunts and fuse block after soldering current sense wires to the fuse block and attaching the wires to the shunts.
