Continued working on the door latches and low profile handle.
Drilled the holes for the latch rods through the Van's guilde blocks installed yesterday. Then removed these blocks and trimmed the guide blocks included with the Plane Around 360 deg. latch kit. Had to trim these blocks by quite a bit, and then shape to fit the pockets in the doors. Had to change the tilt of a couple of the blocks slightly to allow the rods to move easily. Once the blocks fit properly, used the previously drilled mounting holes to mark the location for the screws by drilling slightly with #12 drill. Then finished drilling the holes on the drill press so that they are straight. Installed the new blocks with screws.
Trimmed the length of the inside handle tubes, and the activator tubes. Used a tubing cutter to make the cuts clean, then cleaned/debured on the grinder.
Repaired voids on the front edge of each door by using an epoxy and cab-o-sil stiff mix which I pushed into the voids with a brush. Then clamped with small binder clips.
